Rare Rebajes enamel on copper necklace. Similar pieces are shown on pages 51 and 62 of the book Copper Art Jewelry A Different Lustre by Burkholz and Kaplan. The book states that Rebajes was not known for his enamel work, but experimented with the technique in the late 1950's. Marked: "Rebajes" on the round hang tag. The discs measure 1 1/4 inches in diameter. The necklace measures 17 inches long. The copper has a dark, aged patina which could be polished off, but I leave that to the next owner.
